The Avicenna Medical College has been established with the support of Local and Foreign Investment from Canada and United Kingdom. It Constitutes of Professionals who wanted to contribute in medical education and medical service delivery in Pakistan. This was made possible by formation of ABDUL WAHEED TRUST. Mr. Abdul Waheed is a seasoned Health administrator and philanthropist who is known for his contribution in the field of Health Services delivery for over two decades. He has been on the advisory board of Pakistan Red Crescent in addition to establishing and successfully running Aadil Hospital Lahore.
The Trust is a non-profit making, welfare organization that seeks to serve the poor and needy by the establishment of health related institutions and hospitals to provide free treatment to the deserving segment of the Society.
