The department has pre-anesthesia assessment room, recovery, and waiting rooms, scrub area male & female changing rooms, main OTs, each of which is supported by an anesthesia machine, ventilator, defibrillator, ECG & B.P monitor, oximeter, capnograph / monitor, diathermy, suction apparatus & baby resuscitator. There are separate operating facilities for ophthalmology, orthopedics, general surgery, Obs & Gynae, ENT, neurology & urology. Additionally, interventional pain management facility is also being provided to patients. OTs & Labour rooms are in the same vicinity for the convenience of patients. Facility for painless delivery is also being provided. Separate CSSD facility exists with OT. Central oxygen, nitrous oxide, air supply system is functional in OT. Operation theatre staff consists of OTAs, Sisters & Ayes in addition to surgeons & allied specialists.
