A streamlined teaching program has been designed for the undergraduates who are posted to the Orthopedic Department in rotation. Clinical demonstration classes take place in the outpatient department, and the students are trained through clinical examinations and presentations. Students are encouraged to interact with the faculty members to create an atmosphere of trust. The students are exposed to pre-operative planning where surgical cases are discussed in great detail. The department has a separate ward with necessary auxiliary staff. Moreover, the Operation theater is equipped with state of the art trauma surgery equipment, an image intensifier, & basic facilities for joint replacement.
