The department is equipped with most modern machinery, separate eye-ward and operation theatre. In the Outdoor Patient department WPM, refractions are being performed on modern auto refractometer. Eye surgeries are available for Phacoemulsification, Glaucoma, Squint, and Ptosis. Students may also observe Posterior segment surgery and Corneal Transplantation especially Deep Lamellar Keratoplasty for Keratoconus. Our medical students are engaged from the very first year and are taught to perform visual acuity examination, retinoscopy & external eye examination.
